Salmon Lodge Fishing Report June 25th to 30th, 2012

A week of “High’s and Low’s” water that is. Nautue smiled upon us this week as we went from  historic low water levels to above normal by the end of the week. The guides voted and high water was the clear winner. Even in the low water we were catch salmon everyday, this bumb we received is just what the dorctor ordered. Fishing is simply great and with the July salmon run to begin next week, hang on!

The Bonaventure, Petite Cascapedia and Grand Cascapedia are all running with early June water levels. We are able to travel everywhere with our boats and finding pockets of fish all over.

Ray Bouchard from New Hampshire and Salmon Lodge guide Pat with a wonderful 30 pound ! Petite Cascapedia beauty.

The fly’s of choice have been the Stone Ghost, Green Spey and Nagli, Tubes have been doing very well also. Dry’s of Choice are the Brown and Green bomber’s as well as the Labatt Blue.
