My quest to connect to the Atlantic Salmon has taken me to many camps and many rivers and I was thrilled last week to return to the Salmon Lodge on the Grand Cascapedia River in search of big fish. This camp and river is an very special place full of history, tradition, hard fighting salmon and memorable memories. What makes the Salmon Lodge and the Cascapedia River so special is the total commitment of all the camp staff to ensure that you enjoy your stay by paying attention to details. They work hard to ensure that their guests have the ultimate fly fishing experience. From the the camp staff in the kitchen, management in the office, cleaning staff tending to your room to the knowlegebale guides on the water, they all 'buy-in' to delivering a fly fishing experience that will exceed your expectations. Like the salmon travelling a great distance to return to its native river to spawn, anglers from around the world return to Salmon Lodge every year to cast their fly over these world class fish. My advice - book the trip and show up, you will find yourself going back.
