I stayed here with my wife in early July. The lodge has a wonderful location with a great view. The fact it's a historic lodge at (I think) 200 years old but nicely restored, adds an incredible charm you can't really get anywhere else. The staff there are amazingly friendly and accommodating, and the fishing guides are always a pleasure. They really know what they're doing. It's their personal mission to help you land a fish. The river itself is beautiful, pristine, and very regulated in terms of the fishing - which is great because the fish numbers this year are doing much better than last, and you always get your feet into unfished waters in the morning.
